I've recently been having ideas for a celtic-ish story involving Cchulainn.

No, it won't be a strict translation of a recension, it won't be written in Irish, it will deviate substantially from the standard form in which Cchulainn's story is told.

I bought a ring in Ireland a few years back, that has the two "dragon" heads facing each other, with their bodies intertwined.

I see the "dragon" heads facing each other is a theme on your site and am interested in find out what the ring represents - the folklore behind it - but do not know where to look on your site!

Did they or did they not wear armour and/or helmets like there continental and British counterparts. I know the celtic culture in general disdained the use of it for the most part but I'm led to believe the higher status amongst them like cheiftains or kings did, but I can't seem to find any info about this regarding Irish warfare.
